Arriving in Norfolk around 0630, our departure took several hours. Not to worry, being experienced cruisers, we knew not to book the first flight home. Ours
departed at 1230, we had plenty of time. We set our same checked lugage out the night before so the crew could transport them off the ship to a large holding area
where we would claim them before clearing Customs. While the cruise line does feed you breakfast, at this point the staff is most interested in getting you off so the
new manifest can board. Previous smiles turn to mere glances as these folks are extremely busy turning the ship in such a short time.

When we finally departed we found our luggage and cleared Customs. Our declaration: One shot glass from The Bahamas (For Merri KE5MNA).

Customs does not have any spaces on their forms for the amount of RF you emitted. Nor do they account for the contacts you made.

We brought back almost 600 contacts, 60 Gigs of HD AVHCD video, 4.4 Gigs of photos and files, plus we made quite a few new ham radio friends in the process.

Please stay tuned for our 2009 expedition to C6A
