15 October 2008 C6AMS hit the air on 40 meters CW and folks instantly came out of the woodwork. Who says the bands are dead? All points of the globe were hit on 40 meters and the pile ups were huge. I tried a couple of times to contact friends from Texas but our schedules have not yet coincided. We will be on shore leave Thursday so look for me again in the afternoon and evening on 20, 30, 40 and 80 meters.
