![]() 13 October 2008 We had several hours to kill before boarding so Renee' and I walked around downton Norfolk for a while. The downtown district of Norfolk is full of interesting old houses and architecture. Photos available HERE. Boarding the ship was painless but not fast. We had no trouble at all with the radio equipment since our group leader had forewarned the ship security staff in advance. They were expecting us. Since we were bringing aboard 7 pieces of luggage between us, we checked 3 large cases of equipment. We did not get these delivered to our room until after 1900 hours. The ship left port promptly at 1700 hours. Setting up the station after dinner, I discovered some RFI in my audio gear. Will have to resolve that tomorrow. I was also too late to sign up for internet access tonight, will try again tomorrow. |
